2012 Ram 4500 6.7

Attempted to perform stationary desoot, function does not work properly. After selecting stationary desoot, a series of questions (unrelated to DPF/regen. system function) come up, including "engine must be off". At the end of clicking "ok" several times, it says "function not available". 

I previously attempted the same function on the same vehicle just to see if it would work (earlier software), and the questions were different, and relevant "engine must be warmed up to operating temp.", but the scanner determined that the vehicle didn't require a desoot and would not allow me to force it. (seems like it would have worked if it was needed, as it is now)
